About me

 

  My name is Tamara Dozier and I'm an artist that loves to play with clay and paint. My Mother once told me she knew I was going to be an artist when I discovered crayons were to draw with and not to eat. I enjoy creating holiday art but anything from ornaments to art dolls to weird and funky jewelry will find it's way from my imagination to my work table. 

 

  I am originally from Chicago, Illinois but spent my teens and early adult life in Texas. I moved to Oklahoma and raised my two children as a single mom. During that time I created and sold my art as I could while working to support my family. I am currently living in Missouri with my husband and my daughter. 

 

  Art has always been a journey for me, sometimes it flows so easily and then there are those times it can be a real struggle. No matter how easy or how tough a piece was to create once it's finished I feel a real satisfaction ..... and then it's on to the next piece.
